Activity Management

The Activity Management features that are provided in the Salesforce platform can be utilised throughout Atamis to schedule Tasks and Events on various Atamis records. 

  • Events have a start and finish time, e.g. a meeting
  • Tasks only have a target completion date

 

Adding a Task or Event

To create a Task or Event, from the record click New Task or New Event in the Activities section on the record's detail page. 

A new window will popup that you can enter the information related to the task or event.

In the Activity Section, all activities will appear in a list sorted by upcoming activities and past activities. You can use the filter icon on this list to view only a subset of activities based on the filters selected. 

 

Task Status Indicator

Your system may or may not have a R-A-G field configured on activities called Status (Graphic). If this is in use in your system, the default logic for the flag is as follows

  • Blank Field - The task date is > 30 days away and the task is still open
  • Gold_flag_waving.svg.png - The task Date is <= 30 days away and task is still open
  • flag_red.gif - The task Date is in the past and the task is still open
  • flag_green.gif - The task has been closed (completed)
