Pipeline Stages

Stage records allow users to track resourcing requirements for each stage of the Pipeline process. When set up for a record you can easily view the Scheduled Resources by date and department using the report component in the Stages tab. To set up, first create a stage and then create resource requirements to apply to that stage.

Set Up Stage

To set up a Stage on a Pipeline Record, navigate to the Stages tab and click New on the Stages related list view. A screen will prompt you to fill out the details for the stage you are setting up such as Stage Name, Stage Description, Start and End Dates.

Click Save at the bottom of the pop out screen to view the record you created.

Set up Resource Requirements

Once you have created a Stage, scroll down to the bottom of the Stage record to see the Resource Requirements list. To log a resource requirement at this stage, click New at the top the list. Pipeline - Resource Requirements List.png

Fill out the appropriate details such as Department and Resource FTE on the pop out screen for the resource requirement and click Save. If you need to add additional resource requirements to reflect multiple resources from multiple departments, you can click Save & New and continue creating additional resource requirements.

Resource FTE represents the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) resource level required during the Stage. 1 FTE = 5 working days, therefore to represent 1 person for 1 day/week, enter 0.2.

When a Resource Requirement is created, the Resource Levels will be automatically generated by the system taking into consideration the Resource FTE entered and the Stage Start and End Date.

If the Resource FTE or Stage field detailed are changed, the resource requirements will be recalculated by the system. It may take a few minutes for these changes to be applied in the system.
