Pipeline records are particularly effective with recurring goods or services where historic contracts can be seen alongside renewal activity such as new market engagements or re-procurement projects. There are two areas within a Pipeline record that Contracts can be linked and they serve separate purposes for managing your Pipeline activity.
Sourcing to Contract
In the Sourcing to Contract tab, you will be able to view a list of any awarded contracts with a direct link to the Pipeline record.
These links are established on the Contract record during Contract creation by populating the lookup field for Programme or Pipeline. You cannot create a new awarded contract from the Pipeline record.
Contract Associations
Contract-Pipeline Associations act as a junction between pipelines and contracts. This allows you to record any associations a specific Pipeline Project or Programme has to Contracts within the Atamis system, even if there is no dependency between the two records.
To create a new association, click New at the top of the list. Enter the name of the Contract record you wish to associate with the Pipeline and click Save.
The link will be visible on both Pipeline and Contract records after creation.
