Supplier Guide: Registering on the Central Digital
Platform (CDP) & Sharing Your Information for Tenders
via Atamis
This guide explains how suppliers can register their organisation on the Central Digital
Platform (CDP) — also known as the “Find a Tender” service — create a share code, and
use it when responding to tenders issued through Atamis.
1. What is the Central Digital Platform?
The CDP is the UK Government’s new online portal for public procurement. It enables a
single registration for suppliers and buyers, secure storage of core business information
that can be reused across multiple bids, and increased transparency under the
Procurement Act 2023.
As a supplier bidding through Atamis, you’ll need to ensure your organisation is registered
on the CDP and that you can generate and share your CDP share code when submitting
your tender response.
2. Registering Your Organisation and Administrator
Step 1: Create or Sign in with a GOV.UK One Login
• Visit the Find a Tender registration page.
• Use your existing GOV.UK One Login or create a new one.
• Once logged in, you’ll be prompted to register your organisation.
Step 2: Register Your Organisation
• Nominate your first administrator — this person manages your organisation’s profile
and approves additional users.
• Provide key details such as organisation name, address, and Companies House
number.
• Confirm and submit your organisation’s details.
3. Completing Your Supplier Information
Once your organisation is registered, you’ll be asked to complete your Supplier
Information Questionnaire on the CDP. This includes organisation details, connected
persons, trade assurances, exclusions, and financial information.
4. Declaring and Creating Your Share Code
Once all required information is complete:
1. Confirm your declaration that the information provided is accurate.
2. Select “Share my information” ® “Create a share code.”
3. Enter your name, job title, work email, and postal address.
4. Confirm to generate your unique share code.
If any details change, simply update your CDP record and generate a new share code.
5. How the Share Code Works in Atamis
In Atamis, the Pre-Selection Questionnaire (PSQ) is directly linked to the Central Digital
Platform (CDP).
When you enter your share code into the field provided in the PSQ, your organisation’s
information stored on the CDP will automatically pull through into the Atamis system.
This means buyers can view your CDP information directly during the evaluation stage,
and you don’t need to manually re-enter the same details. Ensure your CDP record is up
to date before submitting your response.
6. Key Steps for Suppliers
- Create a GOV.UK One Login account.
- Register your organisation on the Central Digital Platform (Find a Tender).
- Complete your Supplier Information Questionnaire.
- Generate and save your share code.
- Enter your share code into the PSQ field in Atamis when submitting your tender.
- Keep your CDP record up to date and regenerate a share code if any information
changes.
7. Summary
Using the CDP and sharing your information via a share code makes tendering with
Atamis easier and more efficient. It ensures your organisation’s verified information is
automatically accessible to buyers, reducing duplication and saving time.
