A Rebuilt Project Evaluation Page
Overview

The project evaluation page has been rebuilt with a new Lightning Web Components scoring interface: a navigation tree on the left for moving between lots, sections and requirements, and the requirement detail and scoring on the right.

Product functionality

Each requirement has Evaluate and Documentation tabs. The rationale field is mandatory — it’s flagged in red if a user tries to move on without one — and a green tick only appears against a requirement once both a score and rationale are saved, and against a section once every requirement in it is complete. The top right progress bar includes auto-scored and optional requirements, so if 10/50 are auto-scored the evaluation will show as partially complete. Where lots are involved they sit above sections in the navigation hierarchy, with the page subtitle showing exactly where the user is, for example “L2, S1, R1a,” and section weighting shown as subtext once a section is expanded.

Requirements with more than one supporting file show a file list rather than a single preview, and files can be downloaded or opened in a new window. Once every requirement is complete, Submit Evaluation turns green and asks for confirmation before submitting.

Benefits

Evaluators always know exactly where they stand: the scored percentage counts only the requirements they must score by hand, so auto-scored and optional requirements never inflate progress, and it’s scoped to the project’s current stage only, so an earlier stage’s work never bleeds into today’s status. Once evaluation closes, anyone who did any work can still open View Responses to look back over it, whether or not they submitted.
